Feliz martes!!!

Aquí tenéis la canción de hoy made in Italy" (más o menos)

Good morning everyone!!!

Here is another example of  what I call "I paint everything", yeah I have a serious problem, and in my case instead of seeing a wooden box just in the shelf,  a jeweler, an umbrella stand, a vase, or some wooden boards in the floor , maybe also they are dirty ... me no, I always see  linen.

A couple of years ago, I started to try with special acrylic paint for textiles, and this opens me another range of possibilities ...custom  t-shirts, bags with original prints and as you can see here, there is also the option to customize your own  cushions.

I have used several, but the one I most recommend are the Amsterdam brand. In fact it is the brand that I use for most jobs. The colors are more intense than others,  and also the quality is great.

If you you want to venture into this wonderful world, I indicated some  little advices:

 1) Choose quality paints, you will see that there are not much difference in price. Approximately it will cost about 3 euros a bottle of 30 ml.

2) The most recommended textile  is cotton, but you can also paint on other tissues that have blend of cotton and polyester, it also adheres well.

3) To set the drawing, once it  is dry, yo can iron  upside down the pillow  and it will be ready. In addition, you will see  it will become more flexible.

4) In the "Corte Inglés"  you have textile paintings Amsterdam too, if you want to start testing it tomorrow

I have several pictures  with pillows, but today I want to show you   my Tuscan pillow.  I'm in love of that area of Italy and every  two years more or  less,  our bodies asks us to back there... if you  do  not know I recommend it highly and   soon I  will prepare a special  post for this  very   special   place  to share  it also with you.

I leave here also different ways to combine it, a photo taken in Pienza on our last holidays and also some options to buy them by internet, if you don't  want to go today to your specialty shop and I have intrigued you only a little...

Happy Tuesday!!!

and here you have the son for today made in Italy  (more or less)
