Empieza hoy.

Un abrazo y Feliz día

y la canción que he elegido para hoy para contrarestar la lluvia y empezar el día con alegría  es "Another Sunny Day" de Belle and Sebastian ...

Hello everyone and Happy Thursday !!

I want to show you, "A rainy Thursday". Another of my abstract paintings, but  very real at the same time, due to  I painted one Thursday and also  it was raining.

I planned to go to "The Thursday's  beers," but a little earlier, I clearly saw  how I wanted to finish it.

That way, I lost another Thursday beers, although it's really  a "Thursday, guys," their space, their time, and as I love that,  about the spaces and times, so at the beginning  I introduced that in a file and I kept it in my device like "That's Alex disconnecting  time of you and you can take advantage to make your little things". That's why many pictures have been painted on Thursdays. I also love to have those short hours exclusively for me.

To take your time in the day is increasingly difficult, and I think to plan them, can helps a lot, so let search for : "Your afternoon to make cakes," Your Friday's guitar," "Your zumba's day "or .." Your own Thursday's beers ". To disconnect from the routine is very necessary, we must get away from it. Let Start today.

Kisses and enjoy the day

And today's song in oppossite to the rain, we have "Another Sunny Day" from Belle and Sebastian. Start your day with a smile.

En el número 2 : LAS LIBRETAS "Things that make me love"

Good morning everyone!! How are you??

Today I wanted to dedicate the post to one of the brands that recently I've been impressed by. This month I bought for the first time the Mr. wonderful magazine´. Ther there was was an article dedicated to Lovelystreets. Just seeing their images they remembered me anything, I think someday while I was surfing  by the net or perhaps in any establishment where there were any of their products, but I did not know the brand in itself,  and  the variety of products that they had.

That was when I began to investigate and I discovered that it is the travel brand of Mr. Wonderful, and as they call it :  would be their little sister.

Lovelystreets was born with a philosophy that at the same time you are reading its manifest, you just want to get a plan and  getaway again:

 I promise to enjoy,
about every discovered corner,
let me win by hidden streets.
I promise to skip the route, , to dare to miss myself
I walk until my feet became hurt
I promise to be a traveler with open eyes and happy heart

Many of us maybe will feel identified in those words,  it  summarized  in a very special way and  in a few sentences, what dreamer travelers think. So all their products are focused for the traveler, not for the tourist .. The illustrations are great, multicolored watercolors wich can  transport you  to that place and then you can  perfectly remember the sensations that you lived or these wich are coming.
For those who don't  know their products and before inquiring as on their website, I have made a ranking of the pieces that I really liked the most, I'm not going to give thrill to this so I will start with the number 1:

At number one: WRINKLED MAPS

When I saw it, I thought: How is possible  that  anyone think it before?  Their mind thought upside down. I guess,  if the majority of them finish that way, we will do so , but also it will be  nice and helpful. They have synthesized the best of each city but also with illustrations and always with interesting content, you can crumple it all you want and save it where you want and when you get back from the trip it looks good  in his vase, if we talk  decoratively speaking. I put the photo of New York with the hope of buying it soon ..

At number two: THE NOTEBOOKS "Things that make me love"

Besides the notebooks are very nice, they are great to make a special gift to someone, to give a surprise that he/she will finally do this dream trip, or that trip which both  have been talking about so long. There are several models of notebooks, but these  are what inspire me the most. Really another great idea.

At number 3: PHOTO ALBUM "Life is a beautiful journey"

Since we discovered Mr. Hoffmann, the new digital technology, to get us to make us over 10 photos to obtain  the perfect one in at least one etc ... we have lost a little charm that had perhaps to  reveal the pictures,  and put them fondly on our album where we wrote everything we had lived and also pasted in them everything wich was "pasteable" from the trip, the zoo tickets, subway tickets, the silly buyings  from the  trip (I always have one ... Don't you ?) or the bill from the day that you did the guiri and the total charged was 10 euros for two coffees. Finally .. the life albums have a lot of charm and it has seemed perfect. Let's return to print our photos and paste them into albums as nice as this one.

I leave here the link of  the website. You will also can see the blog wich is full of many ideas and worth while follow daily to keep dreaming up until next vacation.

and after so much melancholy and bucolic moments we go with the song of the day with "Anyway you want it from " Journey.

Have a nice day!!!

Perfect!!! Gracias Leo otra vez!!!

Good morning!!

Let start the day! Today I want to introduce you, my canvas wich will be remembered as "MY FIRST CANVAS FOR A DINNING ROOM" although really was the second ... and all thanks to Leo ...

When I was little I did a painting course, then I was over  7 years, I enjoyed it very much, but then time went by and  I was many years without doing it again. A few years ago I returned with my paintings and curiously with my husband's paintings (this might be another story). He is a really critical person, so then, he began to sort my pictures as: Bath canvas or a Dinning room canvas.

A bath canvas  usually is smaller  and it  is not as nice to want you to constantly see it around, it is not ugly ... but it's betther to contemplate it on an intermittent way. So I set the "TARGET DINNING ROOM" and  I bought a canvas 80 x 60, with all my expectations placed on him ... this would be my first painting for dining ... and then I achived it. Then a partner of my husband, Leo, encouraged me to make a picture for her and the result was this that you just are seeing here ... she sent me a picture she had seen in a restaurant which she liked a lot and here's my version of it... LEO'S PICTURE

THANKS LEO

Anyway ... I hope you liked it ... and ...FOR MANY PICTURES FOR THE DINNING ROOM!!!

And like every day here you have the song for today,  Leo has choosen "Perfect". Many thanks Leo again.

Hello everyone!!!

How about you taking the weekend ?? Today I wanted to tell you about a chair that I think is great for many reasons, but especially for its simple lines, versatility and comfort.

An ancient and modern at the same time chair. You can decorate your house with a chair icon of the 50s, but very current, still fashionable and is a favorite of many interior decorators and designers.

It originated in Mexico and is named after the legendary Pacific Resort Acapulco, which became a refuge of the great stars of Hollywood. Soon it became a symbol of luxury, sophistication and at the same time relaxing and holidays.

- You can decorate your house with a chair icon of the 50s, but very current, still fashionable and wich is a favorite of many interior decorators and designers.

- Their colours, have plenty of options, all of them are very showy

- It looks good in any room of the house, both indoors and outdoors

- Deal with any decorative style, if you are decorating your home in contemporary style, exotic, happy chic, boho,.. you will see how you can complement your decor and provide a different and special touch to any room.

- There are several models to choose from, but here I leave what I consider easier to combine (flower/classic and the rocking chair)

So if you liked it , you have some options that you may buy you one as soon as possible and spend your next afternoon, reading, sunbathing or watching your favorite series or movie in your chair "Acapulco".

CREEMOS en nuestras musas David Hicks, Alexander Girard, Bonnie Cashin, Hans Coper, Gio Ponti, Andy Warhol, Leroy Neiman, Yves Saint Laurent, y Madonna.

Good morning everyone!! and Happy Friday!!!

Today is Friday and I would like to talk about a decorative style as its name suggests its mission is: MAKE YOU FEEL HAPPY IN YOUR HOME!!!

Is  not a bad  idea no? As you enter your home many different visual impacts begin to appear, and they generate in you HAPPY FEELINGS, GOOD VIBRATIONS and also they get steal a SMILE!!so therefore  worth a little inspiration in this style.

This decorative tendency , has its own name , Jonathan Adler , he has created his own creative universe and translates it into a manifesto, where we have the main keys of this style:

WE BELIEVE that your home should make you happy.

WE BELIEVE that when it comes to decorating, the wife is always right. Unless the husband is gay.

WE BELIEVE in carbohydrates and to hell with the puffy consequences.WE BELIEVE minimalism is a bummer.

WE BELIEVE tassels are the earrings of the home.

WE BELIEVE in our muses: David Hicks, Alexander Girard, Bonnie Cashin, Hans Coper, Gio Ponti, Andy Warhol, Leroy Neiman, Yves Saint Laurent, and Madonna.

WE BELIEVE in the innate chicness of red with brown.

WE BELIEVE in being underdressed or overdressed always.

WE BELIEVE colors can’t clash.

WE BELIEVE in rustic modernism: Big Sur, A-Frame beach houses, raw beams, and geodesic dome homes.

WE BELIEVE in Palm Beach style: Louis chairs, chinoiserie, Lilly Pulitzer, The Breakers circa ‘72.

WE BELIEVE dogs should be allowed in stores and restaurants.

WE BELIEVE in mantiques: suits of armor, worn chesterfield sofas, heraldic tapestries.

WE BELIEVE celebrities should pay full price.

WE BELIEVE in blowing your nest egg on our pots.

WE BELIEVE our lamps will make you look younger and thinner.

WE BELIEVE in irreverent luxury.

That's an interesting manifesto , and certainly I think it made you laugh on more than one moment. So if you want to convert your home, and make it a happy home, let yourself go and ...

- Fill it with colors and more colors , the more vivid and intense better, and it is easy because as you know all of them combine
- Look for funny , original , irreverent and provocative elements that make you laugh ...
- Do you want some baubles perhaps? - Surround yourself with handicrafts , wood or ceramic , raffia, a picture , you only need something to be done by hand, so you have a great endless options ... - Textiles with patterns , textures, colours , or suggestive messages , tassels and fringes are another option that fits perfectly ... - combine it with retro style furniture , metalwork , gold , copper or silver ... - Fill your home with quotes and inspirational messages ... - Always accompanies all the decoration of elegance and harmony.

The truth is that I share with this trend, its essence, and in addition I have been implemented it in several areas of our home and I have to say that it really works , but yes !!! in my case I could not bear to have it in every single corner. We also need peace and relaxation areas , so let's say decoratively speaking I would be "light happy" or " moderate happy".

Taking advantage of the pull that has this trend and due to, we have currently on the market a great range of products, which transmit both colors, messages, textures and shapes that good vibrations... I am preparing a special post with my new findings, so one of these days ... you will have it here.

I hope you enjoyed today's post and ...

Happy weekend everyone!!!

and here you have my song for the weekend:

¿Y vosotros? ¿Cómo os los imagináis? Espero que podáis darme más ideas...

¡¡¡Nos vemos mañana!!!

Ahora a dejarse llevar....

Hellou everyone!!! and Happy Thursday!!!

This is my first post about while I told you in my firt writting, wich I called "Things I will find by my way"...

Last week I was in the "Corte Inglés" ( I needed some more acrylic paintings!!!) and as I always do, I spent some minutes walking by the decoration section, and one of the things I was surprised by, was that wall with floating decoration wich are from the brand #BoConcept#.

Some times we need something in our houses that seems that is flowing by the room, like the air, something that let you feel liberty, instead of we know is fixed, very fixed in some cases...

The first that I see when I looked at this composition, was the lights and the special colours that you can see in every bubble, obviusly they changed the intensity depending on the way you were placed. I could see my favourite colours reflecting in that little bubbles.

As you can imagine.. my brain was full of images and images combining each them with some of  my future ideas for canvas and these were some of  them:

- option 1: I can use them to complement some phrases ot texts like  dots or like an ellipsis,  outside the canvas but continuing it.

- option 2: Rainy Drops, a rainy canvas with these wonderful boconcept drops over there...

- option 3: A collage, paste them in canvas, as the  main object, uhmm it would be nice also...

Both bubbles as the birds, you can place it over furniture, but I prefer using them like mural decoration.

And then ... the white birds, pictured with beaches, trees, roads, skies or maybe some more birds.

And you? How do you imagine them??? I hope you give me more ideas!!! Have a nice day!!

See you tomorrow!!!

and let yourself go away and fly...

Hi everyone again!!!

How are you? I hope you'll spending a nice week.  Today It's just wednesday and I will show you an special work I did  over a  month

One of my cousins told me if I could transform this chair for Elsa and Julia, they are 4 and 2 years old, so my first thinking was princesses and castles...

I have painted various creations for children, but I always try to mix childrens's  world with my particular abstract world to find my own perfect match. In that case, I painted in the base some lines in pink and hazelnut ( pink is Elsa's favourite colour, so I had no option with this) . The legs are made like colouring clouds, so  I'm respecting the same range of colours only including the turquoise. This way I'm doing somthing that I like very much, wich is mixing lines with circles and flowers.

I have to say that the chair is still in my house, because I had to varnish it!!! But Elsa and Julia has seen it yet and they like it very much. I promise it will be at last in your home the next week!!!

See you tomorrow!!!

My post dedicated for children ofthe day, reminded me to  Demi Lovato, but it will not be the  Frozen's song ,,, Today there goes my song for today:
